A Special Tuesday Evening at ICTE Santa Fe 1998...
A special evening is in store for ICTE guests who plan to attend the evening of dinner and entertainment at the La Fonda Hotel on Tuesday. Following the Conference dinner featuring Northern New Mexico's unique style of food, and accompanied by a wine from New Mexico wine country, guests will be treated to an evening performance of the incomparable Santa Fe Singers.
Santa Fe is home for some of the most talented artists in the US -- musicians, painters, and sculptors. One of the unique and talented music groups in Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Singers is well known locally and in the Southwestern US. Members of the group also perform regularly at the La Casa Sena Cantina in Santa Fe, and at the Santa Fe Music Hall.
With a recently released CD, and members who have extensive experience in performing across the US and in Europe, the Santa Fe Singers promise a memorable Tuesday evening for ICTE guests who plan to attend..
Members of the Santa Fe Singers who will perform on Tuesday evening include: Greg Grissom, currently performing at the La Casa Sena Cantina ("La Cantina"), and currently completing his own soon-to-be-released CD; Benjamin Callan, with a BFA in Vocal Performance from the College of Santa Fe, also performing currently at La Cantina; Juli King, with a BFA and several years performing in New York City, currently seen at the Santa Fe Music Hall and with plans for a Spring solo project; Amanda Morris, also seen regularly at La Cantina; Stephanie Morgan, who recently toured Europe as Sheila in "Hair" and who recently starred as Betty Blake in Troika's American Tour of the Will Rodgers Follies; and Bob Fox, who has a BFA in music from Berkeley and a Master's from the University of Miami, Florida, and whose credits include appearing as a jazz pianist with Stanley Turrentine, Jaco Pastorius, Hubert Laws, and others.
